So, Black Mule has decided to partner up with The Skill Centre to create a Barista Academy. We will be offering internships, training, ACT/SAT prep help, and mentorship programs. The bottom line of this affiliation with the Skill Centre is to give back to our esteemed urban communities and create a better future for all of us.
A state-of-the-art youth center in Hillsborough County
We are thrilled to announce that our partnership, along with many others with The Skill Centre, will result in the development of a state-of-the-art youth center in Hillsborough County. This academy will be helping kids in their academic pursuits. Additionally, it will also help them in reading, writing, tech, and sports. Our estimate indicates that the academy will be receiving 3500 kids a year.
- The Academic Café is a state of the art, collaborative learning environment where students in 1st –12th grade can participate in educational programs that positively support academic success.
- The Café provides interaction-learning zones that encompass both collaborative group and independent work areas offered in person and virtual learning environment. The Café is offered in a comfortable and quiet learning setting.

Our team at Black Mule fully understands that there lies a huge gap between success and the underprivileged. So, to do our bit, we partnered up with the Skill Centre. Our partnership will also focus on creating a Barista Academy because we are always in need of the next great Barista that can make the best coffee ever. We have decided to spread and share our love and passion for coffee by pouring our heart and soul into the creation of this Barista Academy. So, students will be able to enroll, learn the tricks of the trade and get their certifications. It will give them the opportunity to try their luck at being a Barista and giving it back to society.
We understand that a great cup of coffee isn’t just the specific blend or the roast. Hence, a great deal of detail and care goes into making that great cup of happiness. At the academy, we will be teaching our baristas-in-training all the details about coffee. It includes the different blends, different kinds of roasts, and the wide variety of results that can be achieved with a little tweaking and a dash of experience.
